Not my usual style, but I did this oil painting for the lovely old lady who owned the house we stayed in on our holiday. Took about 2/3 days because I had to wait for it to dry inbetween each stage. The photo's a little blurry I'm afraid but my camera isn't particularly fantastic resolution.

Great detailing in this piece. I love the reflections in the vase, the veins in the leaves, and the texture in the wood. The colors go very well together and I really like the contrast between the dark pink of the roses and the mint green of the vase.
I think the roses look like there could be smoother transitions between the shading. They are very pretty, but the petals look thick and a little bulky. I also think that both the table and the vase are on a little bit of a tilt downwards on the right side, which makes it looks a tad crooked. Other than that, I think you've done a really great job with this painting.
